Announces Auditions for:

ORCHESTRA FELLOWSHIP

The Fellowship Program is designed to enhance the career development of African-American orchestral musicians.  It provides the opportunity to train and play selected concerts with the Baltimore Symphon­y Orchestra during the fellowship period (September 2015 – June 2016).  Alternate weeks not spent playing in the Orchestra are spent in a schedule of individual coaching, mentoring, training in audition techniques and education/outreach activities.  Open to applicants between 21 and 30 years of age.  A stipend is available.

AT THIS TIME, AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD FOR STRING INSTRUMENTS ONLY.

Resume receipt deadline: May 22, 2015 

Auditions will be held in June 2015 

The audition committee of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra reserves the right to dismiss immediately any candidate not meeting the highest professional standards at these auditions.
