Bringing together passionate musicians from all over the country, the BSO Academy offers adult musicians the unique opportunity to perform with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Under the direction of BSO Associate Conductor Nicholas Hersh, the BSO and Academy participants perform movements from Mahler’s formidable “Titan” and “Resurrection” symphonies.
This free concert also features works by Verdi, as well as Richard Strauss’ virtuosic tone poems Death and Transfiguration and Don Juan.
This concert is free and open to the public. No tickets required.
