CYNTHIA ERIVO is currently shooting the female lead of the Fox feature film BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE, directed by Drew Goddard, starring opposite Jeff Bridges and Chris Hemsworth. She recently wrapped the Lionsgate feature CHAOS WALKING for director Doug Liman, in a cast featuring Mads Mikkelsen, Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, and David Oyelowo. Last summer, she filmed her feature debut in Steve McQueen’s WIDOWS opposite Viola Davis. She is attached to the title role of HARRIET, a biopic of the legendary abolitionist for Stay Gold Features and Debra Martin Chase. In 2017, Cynthia closed her star-making performance as “Celie” in the hit Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE. Cynthia received a Tony, Grammy and daytime Emmy Award for her role.
