Edinburgh International Festival
The Edinburgh International Festival brings audiences and artists together from all over the world. For three weeks in August, Scotland’s capital becomes an unparalleled celebration of the performing arts and an annual meeting point for people of all nations. Every year, the International Festival present a program featuring finest performers and ensembles from the worlds of dance, opera, music and theater.
The BBC Proms is a classical music festival held every summer at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and in recent years has explored new venue spaces through the innovative Proms at... series of events. Its aim; to bring the best in classical music to the widest possible audience, which remains true to founder-conductor Henry Wood's original vision in 1895. Whether you are a classical connoisseur or think 'classical music is not for me' there is surely something for everyone in the 8 week stretch of concerts, workshops, talks and family events.
International Concert Series
The thirteen concert series sees some of the world’s most acclaimed orchestras, ensembles, choirs, soloists and conductors performing from August 2018 to June 2019; some for the first time and others making an eagerly awaited a welcome return.
