Casey Karr
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Casey Karr joined the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in 2024. He has previously held positions with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and San Antonio Symphony, and has made appearances as a guest musician with many ensembles including the Detroit, Houston, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and New Zealand Symphony Orchestras. He is also an avid teacher, and performer of chamber and contemporary music. Casey holds degrees from Rice University, Northwestern University, and Oberlin Conservatory. His primary teachers were Paul Ellison, Andy Raciti, Scott Dixon, and Tom Sperl.
